Thanksgiving Wedding

Happy Thanksgiving y'all! Here in Missouri, we celebrate the season much like the rest of the country: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pumkin pie. We have a family tradition of saying what we're thankful of and this year I was truly thankful for my friends and family. It's been a tough year for me financially, emotionally, and physically. I'm very lucky to have the support that I need and more. Since it's Thanksgiving, I thought I'd blog about a fall/Thanksgiving style wedding.
Thanksgiving and Christmas have that "homey" and comfortable, warm vibe. However, Christmas is reknown for focusing on those red and green tones (for a Christmas wedding, its better to focus on either red or green, FYI, otherwise it becomes to cliche). Thanksgiving colors, in my opinion, are endlessly better for a wedding. Burnt orange matched with brown and fall yellows are absolutely beautiful yet not too overwhelmingly reminiscent of the holidays. You can also use crimson reds and wine colors like in the bouquet pictured below.
It can be dangerous to use all dark, rich colors like wine red, burnt orange, and chocolate brown so its nice to add in a punch of color like the tangerine orange pictured above.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the post and have a great Thanksgiving everybody!!
